The best safeguard is a good
The best safeguard is a good user group. I operate a major course management system for our school. This is complex software comparable to the accounting software you speak of. We use the ANGEL software. At the usergroup meeting in 03, we set up a listserv (angel-l@listserv.iupui.edu). If you check the archive at listserv.iupui.edu you'll find it's thriving. The software is excellent, but the users find plenty to talk about in discussing new ways to deal with features and bugs.
