Merging? They can't get out of their own way to sell one end-point product let alone a combined package. They're so stuffy and single-minded about firewalls it would almost take a sledge hammer to convince even their own people they have other products to sell.
Their arrogance is manifest in so many ways: believing a commodity firewall demands a premium on the market and show no consistent channel discipline.
The market, I believe, will start picking off CP's clients one by one as they struggle to maintain their existing base against ever increasing competition. They're also ham-strung by silly management policies that require even mundane operational details (buying paper clips) to be run past the CEO....Growth in 08? More like smoke and mirrors.
