Many of Bluesocket's 3000 customers benefit from their very strong offering for branch offices. An intelligent “edge-to-edge” WLAN architecture allows users to switch some traffic (for internet access, printing, etc.) at the AP, route other traffic back to a controller at a central location for role-based policy enforcement, or some hybrid of the two. If the WAN link from the branch to the central office is lost, locally switched traffic continues to flow.
