Rules not altered in OOXML standardization process
The rules of in the OOXML DIS 29500 standardization process changes were not altered as the article suggests. First the Editor posted its proposed changes mid January to National bodies. Then in four teleconferences per week opportunity was given to National bodies to discussed the proposed comments as preparation to the meeting. Several National Bodies took advantage of the offer. Then before the meeting National Bodies have been requested to prioritize their comments, and the most important comments were discussed in the meeting. For the rest including, e.g. several simple typos, national bodies have voted on each and every comments in favor or against it if by the DIS 29500 Editor proposed resolution of comments should go into the final text of the standard, on which again National Bodies can change their earlier vote if they wish. So, where is the problem?
