ASR 1000 can't even spank
ASR 1000 can't even spank itself considering that the support documentation and IOS are not even online and the platform can't be purchased yet. Even when it does finally get released it's just a cheap inferior copy of the Juniper that's been carrier and service provider honed to rock solid stability. On the other hand, I doubt any sane company would have their production traffic ride on new yet-to-be debugged hardware and software platform. Just look at the ASA firewall and how many major revs it's gone through but yet it's still unstable and buggy with customers dumping them because of memory leaks and crashes.
