The problem with Vista
I think the problem with Vista lies in Microsoft's desperate attempts to be revolutionary when what the market really wants and needs is evolution. There's no doubt that some features of Vista are outstanding but the problems of pushing and dragging users to the bleeding edge affect the entire market. And when SP1 broke drivers that were working you have to wonder about the overall integrity of the design.
