unified communication

Unified communication is not a new technology. It's recent popularity has just now finally caight the eye of the big guys. The mindset of a "traditional" office is going the way of the do-do bird, as people adopt a more progressive attitude towards their "office". Office anywhere technology is the new wave, and has been picking up steam since 2001. Companies, such as Officescape, Inc. have dedicated themselves to new technologies like Unified Communications for years. With "green" being the new sexy corporate business platform, advances in office efficiency was inevitable. Unified communication solutions are a big piece of that model. Look for the "little guys" to gobble up at least some of the market for these services. As great as the big guys (Cisco, IBM, Avaya) are in their developments, they will never be able to match the flexibilty that the smaller mid-sized guys like Officescape, Inc. can offer.
