Registration has begun for RSA 2008.
Just monitoring my Twitter network it feels like the whole security world is descending on San Francisco today. I have already staked out my customery seat inside the lobby of the "W" across the street from Moscone Center, although two geeks got th the power plugs in the floor before I could.
This year I registered as a member of the press based on this blog and the columns I write so I got my share of press releases and invitations to meet with various vendors. Today I am going to meet with Shlomo Kramer of Imperva to discuss among other things their just announced fourth round of funding; $20 million.
I am also meeting with Bradford Networks who I am told is doing a good job with NAC. We'll see about that! Other than that I am meeting with friends in the industry, Wall Street analysts, and the like. Tomorrow is the busy day meeting with about a dozen vendors.
