What would Cisco want with Citrix? Apparently IBM and Cisco are rumored to be interested in purchasing the application delivery company. Citrix, which makes GoToMyPC and WANScaler,
among other products, last year got its claws into the virtualization market via its purchase of XenSource. A XenDesktop is expected in the first half of this year. With Cisco - and other major vendors - building their virtualization offerings, perhaps an acquisition of this sort would make sense for Cisco.
