WAN acceleration smack-down at Interop: Are you in?

Spurred by the recent post of Douglas Gourlay, senior director of marketing and product management for Cisco's Data Center Business Unit, for his not too flattering post about Riverbed's sales, Cisco Subnet blogger Larry Chaffin is saying enough is enough and is challenging the industry's top WAN acceleration vendors to a bake-off at Interop Vegas at the end of the month. The challenge is open to Cisco, Riverbed, Juniper and Blue Coat and the vendors have until Friday to respond. Larry writes: "We will allow each vendor to set up their own equipment on this test network, run a few tests and then hand it over to us for our test runs. We will work with all vendors on a test scenario that will be used for all vendors in the tests. We want this to be one test and fair to all." And Network World will be there with our video cameras to film the action for your enjoyment.

So who's up for a challenge?
