Human-caused "Global Warming" is Hype and FUD

Beyond the factual inaccuracy of those who say the sky is falling and we are to blame, the circus side-show silliness of the key instigator of this farce, Al Gore, is enough to make level-headed people puke. When Al Gore decides to ditch his far-from-fuel-efficient private jet and takes more fuel efficient low-cost commercial airlines, ditches his fat-cat cars and rides a bike like he tells everyone else to do, and gets real about the mansion he lives in and its huge energy signature, perhaps intelligent people can quit laughing at his blatant hypocrisy. In the mean time, he basks in the adoration of his cult of followers and polishes his absurd Nobel Prize. Man, he duped a LOT of who should have been intelligent people.

To date the eco-extremists have very effectively strangled the US economy with a two-pronged attack against the US and its citizens. They are causing fuel costs to soar while channeling US dollars to finance overseas regimes which are completely unfriendly to the US’s interests. How? By jacking-up the requirements for building and improving petroleum refineries to such an extraordinary level that building new refineries and improving existing refineries within US borders ceased over 30 years ago. This resulted in insufficient domestic fuel refining capacity to the point that it is a national security concern, while forcing more money to be going outside the US to pay for make-up refining capacity. Additionally, the eco-extremists have quite effectively cut-off oil exploration within the US which would reduce the price of fuel at its source, and reduce the risk involved in shipping petroleum products long distances over the high seas.

Quite adept at creating a market for their ideas, the eco-extremists pander to those who are science-challenged, and to the elite class who couldn’t care one iota if fuel quadrupled in price, nor food prices due to fuel costs, as long as they are viewed favorably in the media spotlight. It’s very much in fashion to sling around the word “green” and to be gushy about the “horrors” of “global warming”, so celebrities and politicians, always ready to pander to the cameras, take every opportunity to massage their facades with the latest fashionable buzz words. For those of us able to see through the hype and posing, if their displays weren’t so embarrassingly self-indulgent and hypocritical, it would be laughable.
