Switch to Sprint & sorry I did

0

Recently switched to Sprint from Verizon and sorry I did.

My Sprint experience to date:

1. Waited 30 minutes at the store in line to by a new phone. Rep incorrectly keyed in the new phone order, voided it out, and rekeyed it.
2. Web interface not working on the new phone. Had to talk three customer service reps for over an hour only to be told "wait 3 hours - if it doesn't work take it back to the store".
3. Store I took it back to did not have a replacement and told me to go another store. The store rep then called a rep at the other store so that I would not have to wait until when I got there.
4. Got the other store only to have to wait another 15 minutes even though I was not supposed to wait. Finally got a working phone.
5. Found out I was overbilled on my bank statement by over $400. Had to spend 1/2 a day on the phone and at the store only to be told "but we voided it out" and "it should not have appeared on your bank account".
6. New phone was assigned a temporary number until my old Verizon number could be switched to Sprint. Switch did not occur at the promised time and temporary number quit working. Had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with customer service only to find the phone was not properly set up. Had to have customer service walk me through how to set up the phone for my old number.
7. Signed up for Sprint voice dial only to find out the website doesn't work. Was on with customer service for another hour (again) only to finally give up and cancel the service.
8. No ringback tones for the new phone (HTC Mogul). The ring tones are expensive & of poor quality.
9. First bill came in and I was over charged about &70 for downloads even though I bought the $30/month package that was supposed to have unlimited downloads at the store when I bought the phone. Spent another 30 minutes on the phone with customer service to straighten that one out.
10. Signed up for phone insurance at the store only to be told by customer service that it wasn't on my account. Had to have customer service sign me up again.

All in all, I can see why Sprint is losing customers. When my contract is up in 2010, I think I will be gone too.
