Your Top 50
I hope this goes through with a complaint that it's really difficult to post a comment. And I've done this before with other sites, and didn't get routed to some complicated registration site.
Anyway, I think your top 50 "visionaries" betrays the short memory of folks covering the IT industry. So where was Gene Amdahl, and the other people who gave birth to IBM's system 360 and 370? Other than Bill Gates, where were the other software entrepreneurs -- Marty Goetz, Werner Frank, and Gerry Cohen -- whithout whom we wouldn't have an independent software industry.
