Interesting article. I posted a longer response on the Napera blog (http://www.napera.com/blog/?p=38) but in short - the Gartner analysis referenced may be valid for large enterprise, but doesn't apply equally to all parts of the market because vendors like Cisco don't dominate the small and midmarket. There are million of midmarket customers who don't use Cisco products and certainly don't want complex and expensive solutions to solve their problems.
