Near-line SAS drives

A new development is that the disks that used to be exclusive to SATA are now available with SAS interfaces, so you now have the capacity of the SATA drives with the advantages of the SAS interface, and it only costs a bit more than the SATA drives. Dell, at least, calls these "near-line SAS" drives.
