This isn't new for MediaMax
The Streamload/MediaMax system has always had issues during upgrades. I used to use their system when they upgraded from Streamload V4 to V5 and proceeded to rename themselves MediaMax. The service suffered from weeks of issues, including nearly a solid week of downtime. That last upgrade convinced me to take my business elsewhere, and it looks like it was a good decision.
