Doesn't seem like it makes much sense to me. Isn't the whole point of the trade show floor to have vendors be able to show off their latest stuff? Wouldn't it make sense to have a look at this before making awards? Otherwise, what is the point of vendors at the booths (other than looking for customers that is). Having the awards after creates a competitive spirit for the smaller vendors that they can be seen. These awards are worthless, big implementation, big product guy, big marketing dollar hoaxes when done in this fashion. I expect better.
