This is the message I sent to Mr Sangin, the Minister of Communications. Let us work together through creating hellos for peace
Marhaban...
I am thrilled to see that you believe in the future of youth and technology.
I have some ideas on the use of mobile phones for sustainable development and am talking to agencies at the UN to consider this as a 21st century improvement in the way we educate our youth.
But most importantly, I would like to share with you two projects.
One is a multimedia mix of technologies to revitalize the school system and help children retain what they learn. It is called SuperTeaching go to http://snipurl.com/superteach and get an idea of what it is.
The other is a project approved by Amex called Hello to You World - where through the magic of learning hellos of 192 memberstates of the UN, we can enter into the life and culture of countries, with the hello providing the gateway to connecting, communicating and creating a better world - see link here
http://www.membersproject.com/project/view/O3YPNO
and check out the video there as well as this one on You Tube

I worked with the UN and am now retired and wanting to make a difference in this world. I believe that learning about the language and culture of countries (money, flag, fashion, music, art, health and education systems, etc...) we would be fostering peace and eliminating tendencies for war.
