Yes, I agree that financial services customers have some of the most advanced technology requirements, however, have they chosen to spend more than other industries typically could afford?
The challenges in the finacial services space makes me hope that before simply spending tons of cash on whichever vendor has the highest stock price or most visible marketing they'll start looking into the actual value vs. the sticker price, the cost of operating and managing the equipment, and the capabilities delivered with what they buy.
