So what...
I am a long time Ubuntu user. I also use IBM laptops... but I only buy used laptops because I am tired of paying the MS premium. Plus, I have never been short of power using Ubuntu on any IBM north of the T23. My goal is to spend less on computing... not more. To that end, buying used IBM laptops and installing my own Ubuntu saves me at least 50% compared to the cost of new IBM.
