2nd vote for Cable + DSL
As the previous reader pointed out, using both cable and DSL connections would be more economical and likely provide greater bandwidth. By configuring your router to use both connections simultaneously, you would achieve increased bandwidth during normal times and still have adequate bandwidth during a failure of one of the circuits.
The catch is you can't use a $40 Linksys router but there are routers for several hundred dollars that can have dual WAN links.
