Ellen, I enjoyed your story. At first I thought the title meant that the financial service firms were actually going to collaborate in order to improve security tactics not just share what they are doing. As I was reading the piece I couldn't help but add comments about how ISO 27001 supports the efforts reported and in many ways sets-up the framework and best practices for security collaboration within the financial sector and their supply chain. Perhaps in the not to distant future the US will adopt the International standard.
