BackupExec not reliable
Well, I will agree with the part that it sucks. I have been using it for the pass year and maan this is the first time I have such hassle with a simple backup program. Despite that everything is running fine today, tomorrow BEX spits out an error and for not reason it fails. It has been installed long time ago and has been working intermittently. I contacted Symantec and their response is even worst because there was not respond. I checked their KB and they are notorious by describing the errors that you already know about and not supplying a fix. And if they do supply a line or two for the fix it never works. Not to mention how expensive are those agents that never work- Oh Man. Time for a change.
