Caught up the bad economy? Need a new job? There is some good news. Because Windows is still the predominant operating system in the corporate world, IT professionals with Microsoft skills and certifications remain in demand. (We'll bow to Microsoft-speak and use the generally accepted term "MCP" from here on, meaning "Microsoft certified professionals.") Unfortunately, as the job-seeking market floods with MCPs, you may need a fresh approach for your search before you can land that suh-weet offer. To that end, we've compiled a list of Microsoft-specific resources and some off-the-beaten track ideas to help you network with potential employers, find a recruiter or locate the perfect job listing.
Details begin on Page 2 of this post. But to make the list easier to navigate, here's an alphabetized quick-link guide.

Americans need not apply
The best way to get a job in IT these days is to... NOT BE AN AMERICAN!
Unless you live on one of the coasts your SOL as far as getting a decent tech job. Most engineers I know would rather not move to the high-crime overpriced urban nightmare of California, companies who forgot there was land between New York and California complain they need to import workers to keep wages low(er uhh) competitive in a global market(compete with slavery)
Rather than look outside of where the executives want to live, they complain about a "shortage" and lobby for cheap labor to depress wages.
Lets face it, the H1B program has pushed the "Best and Brightest" away from dead end jobs in what's left of Americas once proud Engineering Science and Technical fields.
I suggest lining up a few outsourcing and H1B abusing Traitor CEOs and explaining the penalties for traitorous actions during a time of war. Like most countries would do with such (and I use the term lightly) people.
job hunting
This is really good as it provides knowledge about job hunting resources for Microsoft Certified Professionals.
