What's the best bargain on enterprise network products you've ever gotten?

By NetworkWorld Co... on Tue, 07/31/07 - 2:03pm.

Bought a bunch of Cisco routers for a song? Nabbed Windows Vista (legally) for a great price? We know people love to brag about saving money. Here's your chance to show your peers just how smart or lucky you've been. And if there are lessons to be learned here, all the better. We plan to write a story based on the best stuff.

Also, please take our polls on the topic.

I was able to buy a 21 inch Dell CRT for $75.00 from a reseller in my town. New condition.

Needed 17 X 16Mb Ram chips for Cisco 800 series routers.

Quoted as US$310 ($420NZ) each supplied locally in NZ. I found a US web site offering them at US$34.00 each (total $578.00 U.S.D + $45 to ship) saving myself $4460 total

The best deal I have ever received on equipment was being a beta site for Cisco VO/FR. It was a great experience.
