Cisco silver certified partner Touchbase achieves Cisco master unified communications specialization

Touchbase - a Cisco silver partner, made a multimillion-dollar investment to join Cisco's elite group of partners who have achieved the Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization, becoming qualified in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

"It's exciting from our point of view to have such an experienced and well qualified resource out there fulfilling that demand for Unified Communications," said Jeff Sheard - Cisco regional channel manager.

"Touchbase has gone through a transformation and positioned themselves at the forefront of UC with this certification."

"We see this as a way of differentiating an organisation against other vendors as well as other Cisco partners."

A year ago, Touchbase sold its Avaya assets to Australia'a Telstra, after failing to resolve contractual disputes with Avaya, forcing Touchbase to terminate its 5 year partnership agreement with Avaya. Currently the NSC Group is subcontracting Telstra's Avaya practice.
