RE: Microsoft games exec hints at iPhone rival

So there's been ton of speculation and now an actual hint from a Microsoft executive. An executive in Microsoft's entertainment and games division Tuesday hinted that Microsoft may be developing a rival to Apple's iPhone, based on Windows Mobile OS.

Microsoft "me too me too me too me me me"

This is really pretty funny...how many weeks after the iPhone launch and how many hundred thousand highly priced devices are sold after how many months or years of rumors that it was coming, and the "innovators" in Redmond "hint" that they "might" be developing a "rival." Just like Zune is a "rival" for iPod? I can picture Balmer throwing chairs around the office, stamping his foot and shouting "I wanna play too! Where's my cool phone?"

Explain to me again how Microsoft is a technology leader?

Pretty good news in my opinion

Pretty good news, it's always good to have two giants fighting. This can only lead to better products in my opinion.
