Microsoft officially released Silverlight 1.0 today. It also promised to work with Novell to deliver Silverlight support for Linux, called Moonlight, and based on the project started on mono-project.com.
Microsoft says that Silverlight users already include "Entertainment Tonight," HSN and World Wrestling Entertainment as well as several Microsoft Web initiatives including the "Halo® 3" preview, Tafiti.com and The Podium '08.
For its partners, it has the Silverlight Partner Initiative, which includes designers, content delivery providers, ISVs, systems integrators.
