This may sound like strange advice given my line of work, but there are people who should never, ever, ever - as in not under any circumstances - talk to a journalist (except maybe at a social event and even then only after getting written assurance that the conversation is off the record).
Richard Stallman, head of the Free Software Foundation, is one such person.
Here's the latest example, as Stallman lays into Linus Torvalds. It's creating much discussion over at Slashdot.
Of course, I'm not sure that public speaking is a good idea for Stallman either.
