ZDNet blogger David Morgenstern, a Mac lover, has an interesting point of view on this business unit. For instance, in the next release of Entourage 2008, Macs will finally get an easy way to set their Outlook out-of-office e-mail messages, a capability PC users have had for years.
"Anything that improves the performance of the Mac Exchange client and makes the Macintosh a friendlier and more-compatible player in heterogeneous environments will be appreciated by enterprise Mac users (whether their Macs are approved by IT staff or not). At the same time, this post makes me grind my teeth. The Mac Exchange client should have had this very feature years ago!"
If Mac users sometimes feel like second-class citizens in a PC dominated enterprise, is Microsoft to blame?
