Cisco kits out Korea service provider with 100Mbps infrastructure

Hanaro Telecom, Korea's broadband service provider, claims that its Cisco-based infrastructure will be the world's largest deployment of 100Mbps broadband services, reaching 200,000-plus customers.

The Cisco technology is based on the downstream channel-bonding specifications defined in CableLabs' Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS) 3.0 specification.
