RE: Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 out of Windows Server 2008

Pulling the free version of SharePoint out of Windows 2008 is a smart move. Not only does this mean that SharePoint dev cycles and Windows 2008 won't be tied together, but -- as we all know -- Microsoft already loads too many things into each of its operating systems. This violates Security Rule No.1. It has also caused it more than a little trouble in the antitrust department. Let users pick and choose which apps they need.
