Dear sir,
I read your differents comments and was surprise that you choose the FG3600A appliance when Fortinet launch FG3016B and FG3810A.
I think that you should be more proactive for the next time.

Fortinet
Thanks for you comment. As is standard operating procedure in all all NWW tests, the vendor picked which product to include in the test after reading the proposed test methodology.
The O/S is the same... only the speed is different
As we pointed out in the How We Tested, there was encouragement on our part to hit the 1Gbps rate more precisely and not "overpower" us with hardware, since that drives the price up. With that being said, the Fortinet boxes were already the most expensive boxes we looked at, so I am guessing that they didn't want to be REALLY high-priced.
In addition, remember that most of the test is about the UTM capabilities of the product, and from that point of view, the high-end systems in the 3xxx line are all going to be identical.
I am guessing that Fortinet could have had a higher showing in performance (although in areas such as A/V they already aced the test), but the evaluation of the product's strengths and weaknesses would have been identical.
Sonicwall Rocks!!
Well.. well.. well.. Where am I suppose to be?? At the sonicwall site or at this site... which talks about shit product.. ASIC sucks!!!
