Nowhere in the list of 10 things to do to enhance the odds of finding recruits who can start work on day one was any mention of career changers or re-entry workers. Instead of looking for 18-31s with an old-fashioned work ethic, try looking at the 55-66s with recent training and a proven work ethic. This age range does not consist solely of dinosaurs and relics; some of us have recent training and experience in VoIP, SOA, or any one of a number of hot technology areas.
