RE: Open source's future: More Microsoft, bigger talent shortages

A Linux distro from Microsoft? What an interesting idea. Not sure if that would be good or bad. A lot in the Microsoft culture would have to change for such a thing to be created in the true spirit of open source (which is NOT anti-profit, but anti- "control freak."). Ultimately, Microsoft will learn how to play with open source -- it will have to in order to survive as a software vendor -- but trying to dominating it won't ever be the right move.

Micro$oft Open Source?

Useful answer?
0

Don't be fooled by Micro$soft. They are only trying to splinter and destroy open source like they tried with Java. Hence C# and .NET when they failed.

Personally, and I'm sure there are many more who share my sentiments, I will never accept Micro$oft's products again. They ripped me off by labeling my LEGAL copies of XP as counterfeit and until they appologize and cut me a check, they can go to H*LL!

Of course that will never happen, there has never been a company as corrupt and greedy as Micor$oft.
