This issue can be completely overcome by solutions that utilize client-based processing, such as Kidaro, VMware's ACE, etc. Client based models do not require stereaming of the data continuously.

VDI and Kidaro or VMWare ACE, are two different things... with the first the data that traverses the network is KVM data, and in the later you run an image on your client, that then connects over the network to the enterprises services, and that will consume even more bandwidth, and will perform much worse

Actualy Kidaro has their patented "trim transfer" which only downloads the deltas in the background so it's not a bandwidth hog. Ace can not state the same....
