What would you make of Microsoft selling downstripped versions of Windows and Office for $3? Is that a "smart move"? I don't think so. Also, the "philantropic" Bill Gates going after the OLPC trying to squash it by running XP, is that smart? Instead he could have donated at least $1bn to contribute to the cause, and look "very philantropic".
