Microsoft Promotes Vista & Live on Google YouTube

You have to give Microsoft credit for thinking out of the box on this one. Nine videos are available on the YouTube channel WindowsVistaAndLive. They are small video commercial-ettes for promoting Vista and Live products, but hey, why not use Google to get the word out. I've included one of the videos about Live Mail below.

Duncan Riley at TechCrunch posted and points out that Microsoft left comments open on their videos. That, even more so than showing videos on YouTube, did surprise me. You imagine what might be said there.

But back to the point... I applaud Microsoft for doing this. Free advertising using Google's medium. Absolutely, why not.
