File this under poetic justice, or no honor among thieves or something: Netcraft reports that a new phishing kit aimed at novice fraudsters (phish kiddies?) forwards all the captured data to the kit's author via an encrypted component - getting him lots of potentially interesting data while freeing him from any potential exposure when the newbies get caught.
This relieves the author of the burden of having to carry out the more time consuming aspects of phishing – finding bulletproof web hosting, hacking into host web sites, and sending millions of phishing mails – whilst benefiting by receiving mails from each and every deployment of their own phishing kit.
