RE: Five data leak nightmares

These nightmares are going to get worse with time. Given the propensity of Mobile phones to store more and more on data cards (just phones, not the PDAs) there is another avenue of loss. Do not forget the almost ubiquitous MP3 Player. Many double as a portable disk/flash drive as well.

Too many people say we are overcausious. but The need for theses tools will not go away and neither will the need to secure this data. Ironkey is an Idea, but social engineeing can even defeat it.

Being aware and a tad paranoid is our only defense......

How to Rate A Company

0

IF you ever have a data recovery nightmare that software simply will not recover, you have to choose a data recovery company, and this can be a tedious process. Data recovery, just like any other business, has it's corrupt and basement operations, and that is why it is important to choose a data recovery company that is right for your case. There is a website that actually rates data recovery companies by speed, effectiveness, and price. This website allows users to leave a review based on a 1 to 5 star system, 1 being the best, 5 being the worst. Feel free to check it out, and leave a review if you ever have an issue or your data recovery experience was great. The website is www.datarecoverycomparison.com and is a great tool for anyone that is looking to do data recovery.

Scam

Make sure that you check this site (datarecoverycomparison.com) out thoroughly before you believe a word that is said about any of the companies listed there. It appears that it is owned by a data recovery company that is just engaging in liable and defamatory statements so that honest hard working data recovery companies look bad. If you look at this website you will notice that there is no real way to contact them if your company has been wrongly bashed by one of their so called reviewers. The site is a total scam and has been created for the soul purpose of bashing other data recovery companies. Like everything on the internet don’t believe everything you read.

If you really want to know if a company is capable and legitimate ask some questions about your data recovery situation. If they know what they are doing they will be able to give you information about what is wrong with your drive, how much it will cost to recover the data, and how long it will take to get your data back to you.
