Enterprise deployment guides for Vista SP1

For those of you waiting for the first service pack before rolling out Vista to your enterprise desktops, Microsoft, naturally, has stepped up to help. It has published a list of guides for deploying Vista SP1 to businesses, ActiveWin.com reports. These guides include an overview of the OS, guidance for testing application compatibility and a 17-page report on "notable changes" that contends that SP1 improves Vista's reliability, compatibility and performance.

A guide that includes detailed deployment instructions, including how to deploy using System Center Configuration Manager, is also available.
