For those of you waiting for the first service pack before rolling out Vista to your enterprise desktops, Microsoft, naturally, has stepped up to help. It has published a list of guides for deploying Vista SP1 to businesses, ActiveWin.com reports. These guides include an overview of the OS, guidance for testing application compatibility and a 17-page report on "notable changes" that contends that SP1 improves Vista's reliability, compatibility and performance.
A guide that includes detailed deployment instructions, including how to deploy using System Center Configuration Manager, is also available.
