We may finally have found a good case for electronic voting machines (yes, I'm joking).
According to WBZ-TV in Boston:
New Hampshire's Secretary of State told WBZ that some polling places are in fact running low on ballots; however he could not tell us where exactly.
The Secretary of State's office was working on figuring out what locations were running low, while also getting busy creating more ballots.
I know New Englanders are skinflints and all, but couldn't this have been foreseen and prevented? I mean we're talking about a few extra sheets of paper here.
This story and other reports of a huge voter turnout in New Hampshire cannot bode well for the chances of Sen. Hillary Clinton in as much as a similar swarm to the polls served her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, so well in Iowa.
