Will You Live To Regret Facebook?

By Mitchell Ashley on Thu, 02/14/08 - 7:09am.

You're not hired "I'm sorry Beth. We'd really like to hire you, but after reading about that 5 day long college party, the drugs you experimented with, and other questionable activities earlier during your career, we just don't feel you're a fit for our corporate culture. We just can't offer you the job."

Will you live to regret the online persona and digital paper trail created by Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, your blog, Twitter or other social networking and Web 2.0 activities?

On my SSAATY podcast episode 53 these kinds of questions are explored by some of the top security pro s in the business.

Rich Mogull (former Gartner security analyst), Martin McKeay (security pro), Alan Shimel (StillSecure CSO and security industry expert) and I hold a joint podcast discussing this topic. The subject was inspired by a Law.com article authored by Harry Valetk.

This podcast is definitely worth a listen if you are at all involved in using or creating social networking sites and software.
