SCO=Lazarus?

Last week or so, it was a group of suckers investors pumping a rumored $100 million USD into that money pit.
Today, it is the ousting of Darl McBride as CEO, and the refocusing of the company into mobility and licensing.
IANAL, but riddle me this:, how do you license IP you do not have possession of?
I still cannot forgive them for the unfulfilled promises.
