Mansion of Cisco CEO gets Palo Alto City Council approval

Chambers Mansion

Last week Cisco CEO - John Chambers proved he is as skilled at wooing Palo Alto City Council members as he is at wooing Heads of State and Business Titans the world over.

Sitting in the front row of the Palo Alto, California city council meeting, Chambers won approval of his plans to alter and complete an unfinished 13,400-square-foot mansion in the Palo Alto foothills pictured in the above aerial view.

John Chambers"My wife and I are very excited about becoming part of your neighborhood," said Chambers.

"We're going to take to another level environmentally responsible."

Chambers plans to add about 359 trees, other landscaping, a fence and change the mansion's exterior and roof to make it less reflective.

He also intends to add two spas, a pool and a circular driveway to the 5.5-acre site.

Do YOU think the roaming deer, coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions of the Arastradero Preserve will be as impressed as the Palo Alto City Council?
