If you had any doubts about Nortel's aggressive stance against Cisco, you should read the heated debate by the two 
vendors over at the Brad Reese on Cisco blog. On Monday, at the VoiceCon show, Nortel plugged a piece of its portfolio to compete against Cisco by signing a non-exclusive deal to sell Tandberg's high-def telepresence systems. Nortel already has a similiar deal with Polycom.
VoIP Watcher blogger Andy Abramson writes that the deal with Nortel will likely help Tandberg sell more equipment but that Nortel doesn't have the strength that Cisco has in the channel.
