Cisco won't cut product prices despite challenging business outlook

The looming recession isn't going to move Cisco to cut the price of its networking gear, according to a report by Reuters. The news agency quotes Robert Lloyd, Cisco's senior vice president of the United States, Canada and Japan, as saying: "We do not expect to see any changes in terms of pricing." Cisco is often criticized for the high-price tag of its equipment compared to comparable products from its competitors.
