Just how much is patent reform and other regulatory issues worth to Cisco - more than $1.1 million. That's the amount of
cash it spent last year lobbying lawmakers on issues including cybersecurity, digital television, regulation of technology products, designs and systems, data privacy, health technology, wireless broadband networks for public safety agencies, immigration reform and trade matters, according to the Associated Press. Cisco spent $680,000 in the first half of 2007 hoping to sway decisions on many of the same issues, according to the news agency.
