Today, Indeed launched a new free tool that enables Cisco certified network engineer job candidates to find all Cisco networking jobs that meet their salary requirements - even when those salaries are not advertised by employers.
The vast majority of Cisco network engineer job listings don't include salaries, so Indeed estimates the salaries of those jobs. Cisco network engineers have never been able to search all jobs by salary until now.
Indeed's proprietary methodology to estimate salaries is based on an analysis of similar Cisco job listings that include salaries.
Indeed extracts salaries from all Cisco job listings containing this information - about a fifth of the total - and then estimates salaries for the rest.
When actual salaries are advertised, they are shown in the search results.
You can also set up an email job alert to be notified when jobs matching your salary requirements are found.
"Job seekers tell us they don't want to see jobs that pay too little and, until now there's been no way to filter them out of their searches when salaries aren't advertised," said Paul Forster - CEO of Indeed.
"For the first time, job seekers may search jobs comprehensively and also limit their results to jobs paying a sufficient salary. This further helps job seekers find the right jobs and employers receive better targeted applicants." |
Yet another unique Indeed tool allows Cisco network engineers to plot job trends over time.
Yours truly believes Indeed is building a very useful tool, however it needs much improvement based on trial searches performed.
