In our business (which is non-IT) buzzwords often crop up by senior management and I, as the only IT person, often get asked what they mean - in laymans terms. Someone asked me recently "What is all this stuff about Web 2.0?".
Sweeping away the marketing hype, the answer unfortunately doesn't seem to be as straightforward as the term implies, so I have been looking into the ideas and technologies behind Web 2.0 and have come up with a 3-part article which I am currently posting on my blog:
http://www.jasonslater.co.uk/2008/04/14/42-things-about-web-20-in-2008-part-1-of-3/
So, in 2008 - what does Web 2.0 mean to you?
